At the College of Education and Human Development, we are dedicated to supporting out students' academic and professional goals. On average, we award over half a million in scholarship dollars annually to help make education more affordable.

The 2025-2026 CEHD scholarship application will open December 1, 2024, and close on March 15, 2025.

Frequently asked questions

Yes! The CEHD offers scholarships for international students. 

To be considered for financially need-based CEHD scholarships, international students should complete the specific financial status section in the CEHD scholarship application. This information is essential for eligibility.

International students are also encouraged to connect with °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍøÖ±²¥'s International Student and Scholarship Services regarding other campus-wide scholarship opportunities.

Final scholarship decisions are made during the months of May-August. If selected for a CEHD scholarship, recipients will be notified via email from the Scholarship Universe system.

Those not selected will receive an email from the CEHD informing them of this decision between the months of July and August.

Requirements can vary depending on the scholarship. Eligibility often includes academic performance, financial need, specific majors, community service, or other achievements. Reviewing each scholarship’s specific criteria is essential to know if you qualify. 

While many of our scholarships primarily cover tuition, we also offer several funds that extend to other educational expenses, including textbooks, room and board, and additional needs.

CEHD Scholarship awards are disbursed to your °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍøÖ±²¥ student account 10 days prior to the beginning of a semester.

Yes! CEHD offers study abroad scholarships! 

These scholarships are available through the CEHD General Scholarship application, which opens annually from December 1 to March 15. Please note applications for study abroad scholarships are only accepted during this time; CEHD does not offer an application outside of this cycle. Be sure to submit your application within the designated window to be considered!
