FCS assistant professor receives °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍøÖ±²¥ Faculty Research and Creative Activities Award

KALAMAZOO, Mich.—Dr. Kimberly Doudna, assistant professor in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences in the College of Education and Human Development at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍøÖ±²¥ (°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍøÖ±²¥), received the Faculty Research and Creative Activities Award (FRACAA) through the Office of Research and Innovation. The FRACAA is a competitive internal grant through °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍøÖ±²¥ and encourages and supports faculty in significant research, rigorous scientific inquiry, original artistic activity and inventive technology. Dr. Doudna was awarded $9,990 for her research on "The impact of self-care on longitudinal relations between adverse childhood experiences, current adverse experiences, depressive symptoms, and household food insecurity among university undergraduates."
