Scholarships are open to declared computer engineering or electrical engineering majors and are awarded on the basis of criteria listed for each specific scholarship.

The following scholarships are available to students in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. This is not a complete list and many scholarships are available outside of the department. Eligibility requirements apply.

Differential Tuition Scholarship

E. Bruce and Eleanor Pierce Dewey Scholarship

Award

To provide scholarships to deserving undergraduate students enrolled in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering degree programs who may not be recognized through other scholarship programs and who can demonstrate financial need. An annual scholarship of $500 awarded according to the criteria listed below.

Criteria for selection

To be considered for an E. Bruce and Eleanor Pierce Scholarship, candidates must:

  • Be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student in electrical or computer engineering.
  • Submit an application to the department by February 3, 2023.

Hans Karendyke Memorial Scholarship - TowerPinkster

For full-time junior or senior electrical or mechanical engineering students with an interest in environmental design and building. $500 award with an opportunity to apply for an internship at TowerPinkster. Applications are due February 4, 2022 and are available in the electrical and mechanical engineering offices (B-236 or F-234).
