Assessment Highlights from 澳门六合彩官网直播

In the spring of 2024, we sat down with several of our 澳门六合彩官网直播 community members to find out how they embark in the process of outcomes assessment, and in particular what they do to foster continuous improvement efforts in each of their respective colleges and programs.

We're pleased to share with you these brief interviews that help to highlight some of the varied and excellent ways that they are utilizing to encourage this process. You will hear their unique perspectives, ideas and tactics for assuring that their students, whether it's in an environment inside or outside of the classroom, are learning, thriving and on their way to becoming successful graduates.

It is our hope that through sharing these interviews, it will provide you with fresh examples, spark new ideas, and possibly stoke collaborative efforts within our community, as we all strive for continuous improvement of the programs and services we offer at 澳门六合彩官网直播.

Jessica Cataldo - College of Health and Human Services

Hear from Jessica Cataldo, Faculty Specialist I from the School of Interdisciplinary Health Programs, as she shares about how she utilized one of the Assessment Mini Grants to aid her department in creating a program assessment plan, and in particular a curriculum heat map.

Elise DeCamp - College of Arts and Sciences

Listen as Elise DeCamp, Faculty Specialist I of Intercultural and Anthropological Studies in the College of Arts and Sciences and part-time Faculty Fellow for the Office of Faculty Development, describes how she utilized one of the Assessment Mini Grants to address faculty learning communities, and how they can integrate climate change across the curriculum and supporting faculty in doing that. 

Chris Robinson - College of Education and Human Development

Learn about how Chris Robinson, Director of Undergraduate Admissions and Advising from the College of Education and Human Development, in collaboration with her advising colleagues, utilized the Pedagogy of Real Talk (PRT) in their advising interactions with students. PRT can help to create an environment of empathy and vulnerability, and the opportunity to connect with students on a deeper level, to help build relationships and trust, and ultimately a stronger sense of belonging.

Steve Sparks - College of Aviation

Hear from Steve Sparks, Assistant Professor from the College of Aviation, as he describes the accreditation process and the standards set forth by the Aviation Accreditation Board International (AABI), the accrediting body for all higher education aviation programs across the U.S. and the world. Learn about what it takes to participate in this process, and how the College of Aviation at 澳门六合彩官网直播 strives to continuously improve the learning and experiences for each of their students, so that they will not only meet, but exceed the standards set forth by AABI.
