Angie Gayman Carmer Art Scholarship

The Angie Gayman Carmer Art Scholarship has been established through the kindness and generosity of Mrs. Angie Gayman Carmer of Edwardsburg, Michigan. Her service to young people and the arts has been exemplary, having taught for 43 in the local schools. Mrs. Carmer graduated from 澳门六合彩官网直播 in 1922 with a teaching certificate. She continued her education during the summers and received her B.S. Degree in 1932. She and Mr. Carmer were married June 27, 1936, and resided in Edwardsburg, Michigan. In her spare time, Mrs. Carmer painted in oil and watercolors. She exhibited in local and surrounding area fine art fairs taking prizes on several occasions. She was the first Western Michigan Alumna to have her own art show in the Sangren Hall Art Gallery.
