Celebrate YOU! End of the Year Bash
Date: Saturday, April 30, 2022 Time: 12 - 4 p.m. Location: Gibbs House
Graduate students and their friends and families are invited to join the GSA for an end of the year celebration! We'll have freshly grilled burgers and veggie burgers from Off the Cuff catering, a bungee run, blow up jousting, bounce house and other fun activities for kids, live music, free t-shirts, raffle prizes and more!

Escape Rooms, Laser Tag and Bowling at Airway Lanes!

Blow off a little steam before finals with the GSA! We will be having a blast at Airway Lanes in Portage with free escape rooms, laser tag, bowling (shoes included!) and a pizza buffet. The event is open to graduate students and their families/friends, BroncoID or proof of spring schedule required. If you need transportation, meet in front of the Bernhard Center at 12:30, where we'll have passenger vans available on a first come, first serve basis. Can't wait to see you there!

School/Life Balance Workshop

Between grad school, family, work, or an assistantship, we know you've got a lot going on. Join us for a workshop focused on finding a way to balance all of your responsibilities--without losing your mind. You'll learn tips and tricks for prioritizing your wants and needs, how to create an emotional budget, and how to say no, so that you can say yes! Leave this workshop feeling refreshed, energized and ready to to take on whatever life throws at you. Presentation by Christin Colon, MSW

The GSA is proud to announce that they will be hosting the inaugural Student Resource Panel! The panel will focus on presenting resources and programs that are available to °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍøÖ±²¥ students. The resources/programs that will be highlighted are: various housing programs and resources, childcare programs, mental health programs and resources, substance use programs and resources, social well-being programs and resources, food assistance, emergency relief funds, help with textbooks, and more! We will be hosting the following panelists:

Grad Student Literacy: From Reading to Research

Reading, writing and research look different at the graduate level. Papers are longer and need to be structured differently, academic research needs to be read in a certain way, and you need a whole different set of study skills than you used in undergrad. In this workshop, you'll learn reading, writing and general study skills that will help you be successful in your graduate courses.
