Cygan spent 38 years with the company and served in a variety of operational roles and marketing and merchandising positions, including store director, marketing director and vice president of marketing and merchandising, culminating with his promotion to president of Jewel-Osco in 2017.
Cygan served on °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍøÖ±²¥â€™s Food Industry Advisory Board for more than 15 years, dedicating his time to enriching °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍøÖ±²¥ students’ experiences. Cygan also served on the boards of the Northern Illinois Food Bank, Greater Chicago Food Depository and NorthPointe Resources.
