Dr. Kuanchin Chen is a professor of computer information systems at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍøÖ±²¥'s Haworth College of Business. Chen's research interests include electronic business, privacy and security, online behavioral issues (e.g., interactivity, dependency, and tracking/protection), Internet fraud, usability, data mining, business analytics and human computer interactions. He has published many articles in journals and other academic publication outlets, including Decision Support Systems, Information and Management, IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics, Journal of Database Management, Electronic Commerce Research and Applications, Journal of Global Information Management, IEEE Transactions on Education, Decision Sciences Journal of Innovative Education, Journal of Computer Information Systems and many others. He serves on the editorial or advisory boards of Information Resources Management Journal, International Journal of Information Systems and Change Management, Journal of Website Promotion, eWeek and CMP.
Chen has received several research and teaching awards, including department, university and U.S. Congress supported Fulbright awards. He has given research talks and presentations at small to large organizations, such as NASA Lewis Research Center, Center of Excellence – Dakota State University, National Chung Cheng University, University of South Dakota, Cleveland State University and many other research conferences.
