Hard work is rewarded with scholarships from 澳门六合彩官网直播.  If you鈥檝e already demonstrated academic excellence or have a demonstrated financial need, consider applying for scholarships. Western scholarships are based on academic and financial need.

Note: Applications for Department of Industrial and Entrepreneurial Engineering and Engineering Management are due February 15.

Departmental scholarships

First year scholarships

  • This scholarship, totaling $4,000, will be given to a high-caliber, first-year student entering 澳门六合彩官网直播 to major in Industrial and Entrepreneurial Engineering or Engineering Management Technology.
  • Once awarded, the scholarship shall continue at the rate of $1,000 per year up to four years provided the student remains a full-time student in one of the above mentioned two programs with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • The recipient will be selected by a committee of the Department Industrial and Entrepreneurial Engineering and Engineering Management of  faculty along with the department chair.
  • No application is required.

 

Engineering Management Professor Emeritus Dr. David Lyth established this scholarship to recognize his and his wife Joyce鈥檚 longtime support of 澳门六合彩官网直播 engineering management students. The scholarship awards of at least $2,000 are given to undergraduate and graduate students in engineering management who display strong academic credentials and demonstrate potential to make strong contributions to the field of engineering management.

Students do not apply for this scholarship. Scholarship recipients are selected by the advisor to the engineering management program in consultation with the department chair.

 

These scholarships are awarded to students in the industrial and entrepreneurial engineering major. The scholarship will be renewable for three additional years, provided the student remains a full-time undergraduate student in the Department of Industrial and Entrepreneurial Engineering and Engineering Management and maintains an overall 3.0 GPA.

Undergraduate IEEEM Scholarship

High school seniors planning to pursue a bachelor's degree at 澳门六合彩官网直播 in industrial and entrepreneurial engineering are invited to apply for this scholarship.

This scholarship was started in 1992 to recruit high school students of high caliber to the above programs. Funds for this scholarship come from donations made to 澳门六合彩官网直播 by the alumni of the Industrial and Entrepreneurial Engineering and Engineering Management Department. Up to four scholarships are awarded each year.

The award is for a total of $1500 paid over a period of four years provided the student continues to maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher and makes satisfactory progress as a full-time student towards a degree in one of the programs specified above.

To apply for this scholarship, you must:

  • Complete an application in Scholarship Universe
  • Upload a recommendation letter to Scholarship Universe

Submit application by February 15.

 

Current student scholarships

Funding for these scholarships is the result of differential tuition paid by undergraduate students in the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences who are enrolled in our undergraduate IEEEM program.

Eligibility and criteria for award
  • All undergraduate students within the IEEEM department are eligible to apply.
  • Award preference will be given to students who have at least a 2.5 GPA.
  • Recipients and amounts will be determined based on merit or need.
  • The IEEEM Scholarship Committee will determine the recipients and amounts of the scholarship with input from the departmental faculty.
  • The minimum amount to be awarded to a student is $500.
  • Awards will be made to student accounts in two installments: 50% fall term and 50% spring term. 
  • Students must be enrolled in good standing in an undergraduate IEEEM program to receive their awards.

Submit application by February 15

Full-time undergraduate students with a 3.0 GPA or better who are enrolled in the industrial and entrepreneurial engineering program are invited to apply.

Dr. Leo S. Rayl taught industrial engineering courses at 澳门六合彩官网直播 for many years. He specialized in industrial processes with a particular interest in safety. The scholarship fund was established in 2005 and is intended to aid students in need. Dr. Rayl was particularly interested in students who hold employment while attending school.
The award is for $500 per year, payable in two installments once in the fall and once in the spring terms. Students may re-apply for the scholarship, as this is a one year scholarship only.

Complete the application in Scholarship Universe by February 15. As part of the application, you will be prompted to upload a resume and recommendation letter.Complete the application in Scholarship Universe by February 15.The scholarship committee may interview top candidates for the final selection.

The scholarship was created by the generous donation of Robert R. and Rhea B. Corrion.  Although all IEE students may apply beginner students who are first in family to attend college, community college transfer students, and nontraditional students are encouraged to apply.  Application deadline is February 15.  The scholarship will pay at least $1000 per year.  Recipients may re-apply in subsequent years as long as they remain eligible. 

  • The scholarship is for full-time undergraduate students in the Department of Industrial and Entrepreneurial Engineering and Engineering Management.
  • Minimum, GPA of 3.0 is required.
  • A resume must be uploaded with your application in Scholarship Universe.
