Application deadlines
For full consideration, submit your application by May 15. Applications received after May 15 will be considered if space in the student cohort is available.. Please note GPA requirement below.
*At this time, °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍøÖ±²¥ does not issue I-20 forms to prospective F-1 students for the MPH program.

A resume or curriculum vitae (CV) is required; please submit within the online application system.
Graduate test
This program does not require a graduate test.
Note: International applicants may have to provide evidence of English language proficiency. More information can be found within the online application.
Recommendations
Three (3) professional recommenders are required to be listed in the application. The department can review upon receipt of two recommendations. Recommenders should be individuals who can attest to academic potential, a supervisor who can attest to work skills, and/or an individual from a public health or health related field.
Written statement
Please prepare a statement which covers the following information, and attach it within the online application:
- Academic Statement: Please provide a concise academic statement of your plans for graduate study, your career goals, and how °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍøÖ±²¥â€™s graduate program will help you meet your career and educational objectives.
- Why are you interested in °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍøÖ±²¥'s MPH program? Why have you chosen a hybrid program? How do you plan to succeed in a predominantly online environment?
- What roles and/or experience have you had in public health that has sparked your interest in pursuing an MPH?
- What are your expectations for a future career in public health (highlighting your emphasis area of interest)?
- Evidence that your employment, academic or volunteer background is related to public health in a governmental, nonprofit or health-care organizational setting.

Transcript requirement
An official transcript from the institution from which you received your bachelor degree is required, as well as a transcript from the institution(s) where any additional graduate level courses or degrees have been taken/completed. Applicants are not required to submit an official transcript of courses taken/completed at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍøÖ±²¥.
Additional information
If you wish to be considered as a transfer student, a transcript of your past MPH work. Courses taken at another University will only be counted toward the MPH at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍøÖ±²¥ if the grade is B or better. For core courses, please submit previous course work syllabi.
GPA requirement - A minimum of 3.0 cumulative GPA is required for regular admission. Students with a cumulative GPA of less than 3.0 may be conditionally admitted if their GPA for the last two years of undergraduate work is above 3.0.
