Program requirements
You will complete the following:
- 12 credit hours of core courses that focus on such topics as design for manufacturability; smart manufacturing; design of experiments and regression analysis; process monitoring and control; and linear programming.
- 18 credit hours of electives that focus on your goals. You'll select courses for the areas that meet your needs! The catalog provides a partial list of approved electives and you can work with your faculty advisor to approve other options.

You may be granted admissions to the manufacturing engineering graduate program if you meet the following criteria:
- Hold a bachelor's degree in a technical field such as engineering or technology.
- Show evidence of competency in computer programming, mathematics through the calculus level, statistics, at least one semester of physics, and one semester of chemistry with laboratories.
- Possess a grade point average of 3.0/4.0 or better.
