Fabric based wireless ECG device

This project aims at developing a flexible wireless electrocardiogram (ECG) monitoring device that is easily accessible to anyone at low cost and can be used during activity like walking and running. The device consists of dry electrode sensors, a comfortable chest belt, and a flexible printed circuit board (PCB).

Flexible and Wireless Estrogen Sensing Device

A lightweight, portable sensing system was developed to detect the amount of estradiol (E2) in a solution of 0.1 M phosphate buffer. This system is fully flexible and has the capabilities to wirelessly transfer the results via BLE.

Laser Ablated Microplasma Discharge Device for Inactivating Bacteria Suspended in Liquid Media

In this work, a flexible MDD was designed and fabricated for inactivating Gram-negative (E. coli, P. aeruginosa) and Gram-positive (S. aureus, B. subtilis) bacteria in fluids under ambient conditions.

Strain Sensor Fabrication by Means of Laser Carbonization

The design and implementation of a smart strain based sensory glove for remote control (RC) car applications was developed. This glove would control the RC car with individual finger movements.

Wireless Robotic Arm Control System Using Piezoelectric Sensors and Neural Networks

A system capable of controlling a wireless robotic arm via mechanical sensors in the forearm was developed. The mechanical sensors composed of piezoelectric discs send biometric data about muscle activity into a system that uses a feedforward neural network to decode the hand gestures being made.
